Taking orders
Keep drinks off the kitchen screen
Mark items that are made at the counter so they skip the kitchen.
Coffees, cooldrinks and other things made at the counter just clutter the kitchen tickets. Mark them as made in front and the kitchen never sees them.
- Open Orders › Menu.
- Tap the kitchen label next to an item to switch it to In front. Tap again to send it back to the kitchen.
- An order with only front items (say, two flat whites) is saved as done and never shows in the kitchen.
- A mixed order shows in the kitchen with just the kitchen items.
- This works for Yoco sales too, matched on the item name.
